I turn 25 today ( but I don't look it) - a quarter of a century. It sounds so much older when you say it that way.
I'm not too worried about growing older, though. I can tell myself it's just a number, or whatever other rationalization that we use to pretend that death isn't one year closer. I don't mean to be morbid - I'm not really worried about growing older yet. Although I had a haircut today and my barber pointed out a few grey hairs. Lovely.
Anyway, my birthday this year also happens to be the last day of classes for the semester, so I'll be at school all day. And then next week I turn in papers, and voila, I have a bachelor's degree. Whee-ha!
