This is my first HDR attempt with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 digital camera. It's semi-handheld, which means that I rested the camera on one of those wooden posts (you can see one of its brethren toward the bottom right) but it was very windy today so the trees were blowing all over the place.
The TZ1 seems to take about 1/5 second per shot in the "Auto Bracketing" mode that lets you select the varying exposures of three shots. This HDR was composited from three images in Photomatix that were taken at -1, 0, and +1 EV.
In this HDR shot the reds are a little blown out, whereas they're way more balanced in the original shot(s). I'm going to have to experiment with Photomatix a lot more to see how to make things look better with HDR.
P.S. Yes, that is a little bit of my left hand in the bottom left corner. Oops! The Tizzy is so small that I have to figure out a way to hold it without getting my digits in-frame.
