Liam Neeson appears before Yoda, however, this seen was not used in the final theatrical version.
In it, he says that he has learned that the path to immortality (jedi ghosts) was an abbility powered by compassion, not greed (so only jedi, and not sith can do this). Yoda offers to become qui-gon's apprentice.
This therefore shows more clearly, why obi-wan sacrifices himself to darth vadar (IV). Because then he can always be there to guide luke (and being even wiser, because he is at one with the force.
I think this would've been very good left in the film.

I also liked the parralel's between Anakin's demise, and luke's strungle with demise. Like anakin luke chooses to help his friends against his master's will. Anakin kills dooku in cold blood; luke manges not to kill vadar in cold blood. Luke and anakin are both, old, and overly arrogant of their abilities.

I have to say that the Padme and Anakin love story is the basis behind the entire Anakin becoming Darth Vader thing. She is very important. And, you have to remember that he loved her, and she originally did not really want anything to do with him. Of course, later he grew on her.

The killing of the "arabs" lol, that was something she couldn't quite relate to, but she knew his anger, and she knew that he was being counciled by the Jedis to control his anger. In Episode III, she did not know that he was turned to the dark side when she said the whole stress thing. As to the reason why she was absolutely shocked when she stepped away from him right before he choked her. She was appalled, she didn't want to believe that THE PERSON SHE LOVED AND WAS CARRYING THE CHILDREN OF had actually become evil. Come now...

Effects, good...but over done, I think

I enjoyed ALL the lightsaber battles, simply cause that is what I like. Not much of a person for guns.

Um, On Obi-wan's "amnesia"...lol, he was old. But, besides that, he might not have thought that Leia actually had force powers...and, being caught up in the drama of it all, he seriously could have just not remembered it. besides, it was there for a surprise...Something that people were not supposed to know. I understand why Lucas put it in the movie, but I do agree that it could have been changed.

And with the "Anakin transformation" thing after he watched mace windu get fried, what did you expect him to do? He just cut off Mace windu's hand and got him KILLED....the LORD OF THE SITH was standing right in front of him. He wasn't going to go running to Obi wan for help. You have to remember, he had already made the choice to become a Sith when he WENT to Palpatine's office. Killing Windu wasn't planned but it had to be done. Hence the reason why he was sad while he was killing him and others...(I am not sure if u noticed the tear in his eyes when they were all red and evil)....yeah

Just my input :-D
