Jough is powered by Movable Type

As a web developer, I took great pride in saying “Everything on my personal site, Jough.com, was lovingly hand-coded by me personally.” However, my own PHP/mySQL system for adding updates was underdeveloped, and instead of working on writing a new system to make things easier on myself, I decided instead to check out some of the “blogging” systems that were already available on the ‘net.

I decided on Movable Type because they seemed to have a lot of nice features, and there’s already a HUGE community online of thousands of other people who use and customize their installations.

So, with the emergence of the new year I thought it was time to actually update my site and start to add content/entries regularly.

I’m still playing around with the format and customizations of the system. Any suggestions or requests are welcome.
